Zirconium nitride is typical for its high corrosion resistance, medium hardness and high resistance against adhesion wear and sticking of non-ferrous metals. A white-gold color of ZrN coating gives your tool an attractive look. This coating could be used in milling of aluminum alloys with lower Si content, or simply as a wear indicator.
